Sergei V. Kalinin, Founder & Principal Consultant
Dr. Sergei Kalinin is the Weston Fulton Chair Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. With over 20 years at Oak Ridge National Laboratory as a Corporate Fellow and Group Leader, he has pioneered autonomous microscopy and published more than 650 peer-reviewed papers (≈60,000 citations, h-index > 110). A recognized leader and fellow of NAI, AAIA, MRS, APS, IoP, IEEE, and AVS, Dr. Kalinin holds prestigious awards including the Feynman Prize in Nanotechnology and the Blavatnik Award for Physical Sciences. He brings unparalleled expertise in deploying ML-driven characterization workflows to solve the toughest materials challenges.
